At our farm we hold classes in a variety of farm-related subjects. All of our classes are workshops focused on specific rural skills such as "putting food by", sewing, fiber arts and needle craft. We welcome all skill levels - although experts should be warned that they may end up as the teacher!

April 16 is our next class.
Learn how to build a coal fire, forge mechanics, tools, and simple techniques of drawing out, forging square to round and vice-versa, metal working, points, filups, bends, twists, half-blows, and temperature. Students will make some decorative hooks which they can finish and use at home.
Fresh Cheese Making Class
May 7th, 2016 10am-noon $45/person
If you’ve ever wanted to make fresh, healthy cheese at home, this is the class for you. In this hands-on class, learn to make 4 fresh cheeses - Easy Lemon Cheese, Mozzarella, Chèvre and Labneh. Using equipment you probably already have in your kitchen you can eat delicious homemade cheeses, you control quality, quantity, and flavor!
